This place was amazing. We came to town to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We were a party of 12 adults and two kids. The property is composed by a main house and the guest house. We spent three nights there and everything was perfect. We felt like home. Both houses are very well maintained and with a nice distribution. A lot of space for parking and the town is just incredible. Many walkable places and the University is just two blocks away. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. We loved this place. Thanks for hosting us!

My large family came down for our niece's wedding. This place was the ideal place for us. The house was beautiful and spacious. We especially loved the fact that we had a guest house. This was perfect for our situation as some family members like to turn in early while others like to stay up late. Also, parking was not an issue at all. There is ample space for parking... and then some. If we come back to DeLand, we would love to stay here again.
The close proximity to Stetson University and downtown was a bonus for us as we had a Stetson Alum in or midst. She was tickled pink to be able to walk to the nearby campus and revisit her past. We enjoyed the tour.
The Getaway Team really did a great job with this house/property. They were also very responsive. When my daughter lost her notebook and messaged the team, they found the notebook and will send it back to her. Overall, they provided excellent support.
I would recommend this place to everyone.

What an incredible place to stay! Our family spent the weekend here while celebrating our daughter’s wedding at Northwest Square, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The home is full of historic charm while also being comfortable, cozy, beautifully updated, and impeccably clean, with gorgeous landscaping to match. It had everything we needed for the weekend. The guest house was ideal for the bridesmaids to relax and get ready before the ceremony. Truly, the weekend couldn’t have been better. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. Highly recommend! We completely fell in love with downtown DeLand!

Excellent stay. It was a great find. Super accommodations and so close to downtown Mt Dora and all it has to offer. Don’t have any negative comments to make. Would definitely stay here again.

First, we didn’t want to leave! This home is by far one of the most beautifully updated I have ever visited. Everything was sparkling, the hosts were fantastic, the space is huge & location is perfect. 1 minute walk from the beautiful little downtown but on a street so quiet you can hear a pin drop. I can’t wait to return! AAA+++ thank you!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Minnesota Manor. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook for our large group comfortably. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch as the Florida weather was perfect! When we weren’t cooking, we walked to the nearby downtown area and enjoyed meals at Urban Brick and The Table, some of our new favorites! The kids played in the game room, loved the arcade and foosball table! The bunks were super fun for them as well! One morning we explored the nearby Stetson University campus over coffee. It was so nice to have the Guesthouse available for the grandparent crew. This was an amazing addition to the overall experience as it allowed some privacy from the rest of the crew. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!

Family agreed it was a wonderful place to stay. It reminded us of my father laws home in many ways. Our youngest granddaughter said it was glorious. Love that the bedrooms are separate from the living space. He worried that getting up so many times at night would wake the others, but no one heard him. We did not hear the others not even the televisions. We have nothing negative to say and would stay there again. Sandra

This home has all the little extra touches I haven’t found in other homes I have booked. It is clean and perfect for my family gathering 5 adults and 1 child. Walking distance to downtown if you don’t feel like driving. We had a great time and would definitely book this home again as I love Mt Dora! Especially at Christmas time!
